How to Invest In the Stock Market

I recently began a new project. I’m doing a podcast series on Personal Finance for an organization called Black Executive Men.

In the first podcast, I interviewed Maurice Wilson, an expert on building wealth in the stock market.

If you find value in this interview: please leave a comment on the channel of BEM (Black Executive Men).

I’m on a mission to promote financial literacy and generational wealth.

I wrote about investing in the stock market in my book, Meditations Across the King’s River. I also shared other wealth building tips too.

The stock market is a proven path to building wealth. Unfortunately, many of us do not invest in the market, nor do we don’t take the time to educate ourselves. Let’s change this narrative.

My guest, Maurice L. Wilson is an engineer turned financial advisor who is passionate about helping clients build generational wealth in the stock market.

You don’t need a lot of money to get started in the stock market, he says. And investing doesn’t have to be complicated.

Check out the interview and please comment and share. We can’t afford to get left behind.

Be Wise About Money

I did a FB talk about money and wealth a few weeks ago.

I think about finances all the time:} But it wasn’t always this way.

Let me explain…

When I began doing spiritual readings ten years ago, I quickly realized most people are struggling financially.

It’s still true.

But here’s the good news: I believe we can improve our finances, but we need to make some changes.

Creating financial abundance doesn’t just happen because we want it to happen. We need to take steps.
Financial literacy is one of those steps.

We can’t expect miracles overnight.

We must also rethink our attitudes about wealth…

You don’t have to choose between being spiritual or being financially stable. You can be spiritual AND you can also be financially secure too.

You don’t have to be broke.

We must be aware of wealth trends.

In the second edition of my book, Meditations Across the King’s River, I discuss cryptocurrency.
And I also explain how learning to trade in the financial markets has had a huge impact on my life.

If you don’t have the second edition, you can order it here:

How has 2024 been for you financially? Do you have a financial plan for 2025?

There isn’t one path to financial empowerment. But you must find the best path for you.

You deserve better. We all do. There’s so much at stake.

It’s a spiritual journey; not a race

A client reached out to me recently.

I was happy to hear from him. It was the first time we had spoken in many years.

There’s a new development in his life.

He’s a father again. His daughter is almost two.

Here’s what amazed me about our conversation.

He reminded me I said he would have a daughter 12 years ago when I did a spiritual reading for him.

It blew me away. I had totally forgotten about it.

I’ve done more than one thousand spiritual readings so far and there’s no way I can remember all of them.

Here’s why I’m sharing this message.

What you want to achieve may take time.

And what I want to achieve will take time too. We’re all in this together.

And just because what you want might not happen now, it doesn’t mean it never will.

Stay focused. Keep planting seeds. Keep watering them.

Our society encourages us to think every goal we desire must happen right away.

If we start a business, we think money should start rolling in right away.

If we want to be in a relationship, we think we must find our soulmate right away.

We even rush when it comes to our spiritual journey.

I call it drive-through spirituality. And it’s complete nonsense.

Here’s the thing, we can order a drive-through burger and fries.

But we can’t expect drive-through wisdom, drive-through wealth, or drive-through relationships.

But your journey can be meaningful. Even when things don’t go our way.

2024 has been a challenging for so many. And life can bring one challenge after another. Or all at once.

I’m here to support you.

Respond to this message and I will write you back as soon as possible.

Blessings

Meet me in New York

On my way to New York to do a book signing and talk this Saturday, June 15th at the 256 Healing Center in Brooklyn.

If you happen to be in NYC, I would love to see you.

I’ll be sharing insights from my bestselling book, Meditations Across the King’s River.

And I’ll also be sharing tips for emotional, spiritual and financial wellness.

I didn’t just write a book.

I actively study and practice the things I wrote about. What I’ve learned is powerful.

It has changed my life…

Most people only know me as a spiritual advisor.

But I’m also a finance professional.

I’m a bookkeeper and I run my own accounting firm, and I’m also a forex trader and investor.

When I talk about finance, I’m not just talking. I know what I’m talking about.

You don’t have to struggle financially forever. But you must get educated, and you must take action.

You deserve a better life.

And you don’t have to struggle spiritually or emotionally forever. Your ancestors will help but get professional help too.

Hope to see you in NYC. I will be bringing some FIRE.

Everyone Is Not a Gem

I heard from a client two days ago.

He’s been feeling overwhelmed even though he’s been praying and working on his spiritual practice.

“I feel unsure of what to do next with my life,” he said.

I feel his pain. What do you want the next step of your life to look like?” I asked.

“I would like my next step to be about deepening relationships and creating a sustainable family,” he said.

I hear this often from my clients. The search for deep relationships is universal.

But why is it so difficult to find and maintain relationships?

Would love to hear your thoughts.

Are you in a happy relationship?

I’ve been thinking about relationships a lot lately.

That’s why I added a section on soulmates and relationships in the 2nd edition of my book, Meditations Across the King’s River. Meditations Across the King’s River.

I don’t think relationships should be forced or rushed.

And let’s face it — everyone IS NOT a gem.

Gems are precious because they are rare and difficult to find. A gem will change your life.

If you haven’t experienced a relationship that you think is a gem, it doesn’t mean it will never happen for you. Sometimes it’s not the right season.

And sometimes we have to work on our own healing before we can enter a sustainable relationship.

I told my client to be patient, and to focus on other things in the meantime: like his spiritual and emotional health and whatever he feels passionate about.

This is all for now. Feel free to respond and I will write you back as soon as I can.
