Thank You For Supporting Meditations Across The King’s River

Thank you for supporting the launch of my book Meditations Across The King’s River.

Since we launched the book last weekend, copies have been shipped to countries around the world.

I am grateful for your support of this popular book.

My elders in Africa are working spiritually to get this book in the hands of as many people as possible…

If you didn’t get a chance to order Meditations Across The King’s River yet, you can do so by visiting acrossthekingsriver.com.

Even if you only embrace a few of the spiritual or financial strategies in this book, 2019 can be a better year for you. This book has sixteen essays and powerful affirmations.

In the chapter, Nigeria: Escape and Immersion, I talk about my spiritual journey to Africa with my son, but I also talk about something we all struggle with — and that something is loss.

Loss is painful but it’s part of the human journey; it’s one of the most difficult spiritual lessons to learn. But we all have to learn it.

Loss can come in many ways: death of a loved one, a relationship or friendship, but there are other forms loss.

I can relate to your feelings of loss because I’ve experienced loss too…

But here’s what I’ve learned, Paulette. On a spiritual level, the lessons of loss challenge us to appreciate each moment, and to appreciate who’s still in our life, even though we may still miss those who are not.

Loss also teaches us that like nature, everything in life follows cycles and patterns.

When something ends, a new beginning is on the way, and it can be beautiful even though it’s difficult.

If you’re struggling with loss or anything else, feel free to send me an email…

I’ll respond as soon as I can. I’m slightly behind on emails, but I try to make it a point to respond to all emails I receive.

Again, here’s the link for more information about my book which can be purchased at Balboa Press.com, Amazon and Barnes and Nobles, acrossthekingsriver.com.

Until we speak again, have a safe and wonderful holiday season with your family.

All my love.

We Have Your Back

We have your back…

I’m getting ready to launch my book, Meditations Across The Kings River, in another week or less, and I wanted to let you know I’m grateful you are in my life.

Here’s the truth…

None of us can make it alone. We all need each other, more than we might want to admit at times.

As I share my spiritual journey in my book, I also share strategies to help you on your goals of wellness in 2019: spiritual wellness, emotional wellness, and financial wellness.

Like I said, we have your back…

Plus, every week, I’ll be sharing additional insights that I didn’t have time or space to include in the book. If you implement some of these strategies, you’ll be rocking and rolling in 2019.

The cover of my book was designed by one of the great artists of our times. His name is Mark “Feijao” Milligan.

Feijao grew up across the street from me on the island of St. Croix, but we only met a few years ago because he’s younger than I am.

The cover of my book has great spiritual significance. The golden halos around the heads of the children and the elder indicate these are visitors from the Other World, yet they are also from this world.

I’m also from another world, and so are you. We are all spirits on a mission, and we can and should learn from each other.

The elder is also significant. He has to guide and protect these explorers to make sure they get where they are going. He can’t afford to let them drift off course.

Someone you can’t see is guiding and protecting you. His/her job isn’t necessarily to give you what you want. An elder, or the ancestors, look at the big picture of your life — they need to make sure you stay on track and in alignment with your mission.

If you look back at your life a few years from now, it will become clear to you why certain things happened the way it did. You’ll even figure out why some people had to leave and why some people had to come into your life.

Your spirit guides have High Intelligence, and are experts in their field.

There’s a beautiful plan for you. Don’t get discouraged. You are in good hands. Be confident. Straighten your back. Keep your head up at all times.

I have to run because I am finalizing things for the book launch next week. I know you’ll love Meditations Across The King’s River.

Your Season Will Come

Your season will come…

I speak to you from my heart — not from things I’ve read in a book, but from things I’ve experienced — blood, sweat, tears and faith.

You see, back in 2003 when I was being initiated into the Ifa spiritual tradition — my spiritual godfather, Aseda — the elder in this picture, told me I would write a book one day.

Well, 2003 was 15 years ago. To most people, 15 years is a long time, but to the Spirit world, 15 years is no time at all — it’s not even the blink of an eye.

As you know, my book Meditations Across The King’s River will be published in December. I’m excited about the book and all the spiritual lessons and affirmations I’ll be sharing with you.

In order for me to write a powerful book, I had to have certain experiences. Most of these experiences did not happen overnight. They happened over a long period of time. Spiritual growth is not a race.

Time worked in my favor.

And guess what? I believe time can work in your favor too.

Our society sends us a dangerous message 24/7. It makes us think that everything we aspire to achieve should happen right away, and if it doesn’t happen right away, then something must be wrong with our vision or with us.

Well, that’s a lie, and you shouldn’t fall for it…

Your season will come when it’s meant to come. Just like you can’t plant tomatoes in the winter and expect them to grow in the snow, every vision Spirit gives us must bloom in the right season.

It’s spiritual law, my friend, not man’s law…

Every house needs a strong foundation. Every vision needs a strong foundation too. Your ancestors are trying to lay a strong foundation for you.

And they will also ensure you have all the experience you need. It’s a process — not an overnight job.

Our challenge is to step back and look at our lives from a larger perspective — God’s perspective. Trust the process; continue to have faith despite all the challenges you’ve been facing.

Enjoy the journey and see where it leads.

Until next time.  Talk soon!

Flowers Bloom In Difficult Places

I was invited to speak about my upcoming book in San Francisco a few weeks ago.

I told them the truth — 100% of it.

You see, I could have only said that Meditations Across The King’s River will be published this month because I sat down one day and decided to write a book.

But I told them the whole story — about how my son was in a dangerous gang in 2002 and how it almost destroyed my family.

It wasn’t pretty back in those days; it was a matter of life or death.

Fortunately, I took my son with me to Nigeria in 2003 when I went for my initiation into the Ifa spiritual tradition and my elders helped heal my son.

My kids Malcolm and Tulani

A few months after our trip to Africa, my son’s psychologist said: “I don’t know what happened in Africa, but your son is new and improved.”

I share this story in Meditations Across The King’s River, and I share other powerful stories based on my travels throughout Africa and the Caribbean; plus there are tons of my original spiritual affirmations too…

Flowers can bloom in tough places…

No one on earth can tell me miracles don’t happen because I see a miracle every time I look at my son, Malcolm. (That’s him in this picture above with my daughter, Tulani).

I know miracles can happen for you. Trust me, miracles happen every single day on planet earth, and you must never rule out the possibility that a miracle can happen for you.

These days, Malcolm is a successful businessman and a dedicated father of four children. He’s also a basketball coach and goes out of his way to help others all the time.

My book might have never happened if I didn’t have a problem with my son back in 2002.

Our crisis created a divinely led chain of events that led to beautiful things. In fact, you can even say that my son led me to you. (How cool is that?)

As you think of your own challenges, don’t just think about WHAT your problems are — think about WHERE your problems are leading you to and/or WHO they’re leading you to.

And remember, your ancestors and spirit guides are doing their best to help you. They have more faith in you than you have in yourself. You are not alone even when you feel alone.

Right this minute, powerful souls are working on your behalf. Meet them halfway with faith, dedication and daily consistent action to manifest your dreams. 2019 is right around the corner — make a plan — don’t make excuses.

I have to run because Malcolm is coaching a basketball game today and I promised I would come to watch his team in action. They are on a winning streak. I’ve got to be there.

Talk soon! Meditations Across The King’s River will be here soon.

All my love.
